These posters were fun to color. Although some required intricate coloring there are also large areas areas that can be colored by anyone who may be limited by eyesight or an unsteady hand. Fun to do!
Great size! Thickness prevents bleeding. Love the subjects. Great selection of choices in the 10 posters.
Kites, sandcastle a, carousels, beaches, fireworks!! All the fun summertime activities! I love every one of these pictures!
Please note these are large posters 11 x 15 inches printed on heavy cardstock. These will take awhile
to color so they are well worth the very reasonable cost.
This was my favorite of the 5 poster books I received. Along with the cover there is another "hippie" type poster which are just so fun to color and bring me back to my childhood and the folders we all colored in with flair markers. Those work wonderfully on this nice thick card stock paper.
The paper is quite thick, perforated and one sided so it makes them suitable for framing if you so desire. I used my big art markers on the pages and there was no bleed through to the sheet behind but it's still a good idea to either remove the page from the book or slide a piece of paper behind. The other images include a kite festival, a car cruise night at the drive in, pretty sail boats in the peer, sand castles and beach creatures, an umbrella scene on the beach and other happy summer scenes.
These pictures scream for bright colors and with the nice thick paper you can use your big markers.
The back of each picture has a spot for you to sign and date your work. If you are working on getting better with your coloring skills that might be fun to go back and see when you colored these.
I received 5 of the Stuff2Color books to review. There at 10 pictures in the book, printed on large cardstock (11" x 17", I think), on one side only. It has pictures such as 4th of July, sandcastle, carousel horse, peace/love, summertime, and others. Of the five books, this is my least favorite, simply because of the subject material. I like the others better.
I tried coloring with all mediums and colored pencils went on smoothly. Gel pens do not bleed through, but are best for small spaces. I LOVED using Bic Mark-its and permanent markers because they went on so smoothly and quickly and covered large areas, which this book has a lot of. BUT, they DO bleed through. I put a piece of cardstock underneath and it protected the next picture just fine. These posters are ideal for using various mediums on each picture.
I do recommend this book and this series; they are fun to color.
The 10 designs in this book will all make you smile. I really like the larger size 15.1 by 11 inches. Just the right size to color all the cute details and then display. The cardstock paper is smooth and just the right weight. Letraset Promarkers, Spectrum Noir markers, Sharpies and Bic Markit all lay down color beautifully on this cardstock. The alcohol markers did bleed to the back so be sure to remove with the perforated pages or place something behind if using markers. Colored pencils also layed down color and blended great on this paper. The pictures have dots for shading which adds a nice depth to your work. I liked all of the 10 pictures which included summer time activities plus a hippy van and peace sign. The pictures have enough details to hold an adult's interest but are large enough that kids would enjoy coloring also. This book would make a great family project. I received this book free of charge for a honest review. I enjoyed it so much I plan to buy copies for Christmas presents!
